Tom Currin Bio – Flooring Warranty Services

On the 23rd of December 1984 Tom Currin was born to Mike and Hope Currin, of Lubbock Texas. He grew up with his two brothers, Matt and Joe, in Denton Texas. In 2003, Tom graduated from Denton High School and began his college education as a Texas Tech Red Raider. Majoring in Business Management, he completed two years of study before returning home to join the workforce. Tom still lives in Denton with his wife, Katie.

Tom’s father, Mike, has worked in the carpet industry since 1972. As a result, carpet has been a central factor in the Currin family life. Before either realized it, Tom gradually became his father’s apprentice, and spent many hot summer days working by his side. It was in this way, as if through osmosis, that Tom gained large amounts of knowledge and experience. By the time he returned from college, Tom was prepared for his first official venture into the carpet industry.

In January of 2006, Tom began his career at Flooring Warranty Services Incorporated as a Service Technician. His unique training and experience in carpet repair gave him an early edge and high success rates. Tom has maintained that edge over the years by completing several carpet inspection and repair courses. Currently, as a Lead Service Technician, he is participating in the development of the Flooring Warranty Services Service Technician training course.
